Mrs. Ava Nell Carson

Ava Nell Henry was born in Quitman, Texas on Monday,      October 19, 1942 to parents, Chilton and Myrtle Edwards Henry. She departed this life, on Friday,  December 27, 2019 at Mineola Heights Health Care in Mineola, Texas.

At an early age she united with and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas and served until her demise.

In her youth, Ava attended public schools and graduated from McFarland High School in Mineola, Texas.

Prior to her illness, her willingness to help others led her to a work career as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

In her early adulthood, Ava married James B. Carson from Chicago, Illinois and three sons were born to this union.

Her precious memories will live forever through the minds and hearts of everyone that she met.
                                                                                                            
Her parents and husband all preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memories are her three sons, Patrick Carson of Tyler, TX; Eric Carson of Chicago, IL; and Darvin Carson of Dallas, TX; one granddaughter, Adrienne Victoria Carson of Fort Worth, TX; special friends, Patsy Webster, Renda Caraway, and Harriett Bradley, and a host of other relatives and friends.
