Obituary

Betty Jean Tennyson was born January 14, 1937 in Lindale, Texas the daughter of Jess and Ida Mae Tennyson.  She was a life long resident of Mineola, Texas.  Betty was a retired cook from the Mineola Civic Center and was well known for her Big Juicy Hamburgers... and fried pies.  Betty was a member of Holy Ghost Gospel  Temple Church of God in Christ, Tyler, Texas.

Betty passed away early Sunday morning March 11, 2018 at her home in Mineola, Texas.

Preceded in death her Father and Mother, Four brothers, Four Sisters and Two Grand Sons.

Betty is survived by her Two Sons Lee Vernon Smith,  Mineola, Texas and James Lee Smith (Wilma)  Mexia, Texas, Four Daughters Ruth Taylor (Jerry Lee)  Lindale, Texas, Ida Ogueri (Stephen),  Mineola, Texas, Linda Smith and Carolyn Areia both of Mineola, Texas, One Sister Rosie Tennyson of Mineola, Texas, 23 Grand Children, 44 Great Grand Children, 9 Great Great Grand Children, Nieces, Nephews and One Sister-In-Law Linda Tennyson of Swan, Texas.
