Curtis Ray Acy

Obituary

Curtis Ray Acy was born in Mineola, Texas on Saturday, November 19, 1949 to parents,Tommie Lee Acy and Francine Wheeler.  He departed this life, on Saturday  September 5, 2020 at his residence in Mineola, Texas.

Curtis graduated from Mineola High School, and went on to studied at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after twenty plus years of service. Curtis spent his retired days in his hometown with friends and family enjoying life.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, siblings: Morris Acy, Dolson James, Minnie Sue Gunter, and Carl James.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Raven Acy of Mineola, Tx; two granddaughters: Faith and Miniya Rodriguez of Mineola, Tx; Five Sisters: Shirley Acy King, Opal Acy Bibles, Deborah Acy Rambo, Marilyn Turner and Loyell Acy Procter all of Dallas, TX; Four Brothers: Johnnie Acy, Robert Acy, Sr. of Dallas, TX; Dwight James of Mineola, TX; and Harold James of Swan, TX; and a host of other relatives and good friends.
