Dreyfuss Dwayne Harris was born July 28, 1956 in Tyler, Texas to the late Addie B. and John Harris Jr.
He attended and was educated in the Tyler Independent School District
Drey grew up in Tyler, Texas and later moved to Mineola, Texas where he lived until death. He was employed by Jazzy Jalopies. Dre joined Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church with his wife Nichole where he served as Announcing Clerk, and remained a faithful member until death.
On February 4, 2018 Dreyfuss reunited with his parents Addie B. and John Harris Jr.; One son Chris Smith; Three Brothers John, Welton and Kenneth Harris; Three Sisters LaWanda Baxter, Gevena Gooding and Gertie Harris; and his Mother-in-Law Lila Sinches.
He leaves to cherish his memories his faithful wife of 10 years Nichole Harris Mineola, Texas,Two Daughters Maryion Derrett (Reggie) Gadsden, Alabama and NaCosha Hawkins Mineola, Texas; Sons KJ Hawkins Mineola, Texas, Jeremy Combs Swan, Texas, Kendrick Harris (Kristi) Dallas, Texas, Marlo Obera (Brenda), Damion Mass (LaQuanta); Two sisters Don Ella Freeman (Bobby) Dallas,Texas and Deborah Vason Tyler, Texas; a host of Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and others family members and friends.
