Lila Ruth Sinches

Lila Ruth Stephens Sinches was born July 1, 1938 in Mineola Texas to the
parentage of Alberta Johnson and Derry Stephens, Sr.
She attended and was educated in the South Ward Public School System.
Lila grew up in Mineola and there she remained until her death. She was
employed by American Recreation and remained there until she retired.
She joined Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age and
remained faithful until her death. She served as Lay Leader, Choir Member,
Stewardess, member of the Finley Vaughn & Waddlton Missions, and a Honorary
Member of the Charity Singers and of the Old Skool Cruizers.
On August 17, 2017 Lila reunited with her Parents, Alberta Johnson and Derry
Stephens Sr.; Three Brothers: R.C. Stephens, Clayton Stephens, and Derry
Stephens Jr.; Three Sisters: Henrietta Martin, Sarah Harris and Mollie Thompson;
One Daughter: Amie Kennedy.
Left to cherish her memories are Two daughters: Novada (Johnny) Bigham and
Nichole (Dre) Harris, both of Mineola, Texas; Six sons: Rufus Jackson, Tyree
Tennyson, both of Tyler, Malford Tennyson and David Sinches of Mineola,
Marcell (Debra) Tennyson of Euless, Texas and Nicholas Stephens of Cuero,
Texas; One Sister: Bessie Caraway, of Mineola, Texas.
Grandchildren: Rendell, Randy, Rodney (Deceased), Vivian, Paula, JP, Tara,
Roland, Robynne , Rolanda,, Marcell Jr, Jefffery, NaCosha, KJ, Zymia, Jeremiah,
Gavin, Nickellah, Moreland (Deceased) Yvonne, Regina, Melody, Charles Ray,
Kourtland, and Jacobbey. Great Grand Children, Nieces, Nephews and a host of
other relatives and friends
