Mary Richard

Mary Allison Jackson Richard was born in Hawkins, Texas on August 10, 1942 to the late James and Jean Jackson.  She graduated from Hawkins Colored Schools. In her early years she attended and joined the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hawkins where she was faithful until her death.  Mary was employed at American Recreation in Mineola, Texas until her retirement.

Mary married Charles Wayne Richard of Hawkins, Texas who preceded her in death.  To this union four children were born.

Her parents James and Jean Jackson, Husband Charles W. Richard and eleven sibling James Paul Jackson, Helen Raycine Richard, Irelene Wesley, Dellcine Jobe, Patricia Ann Chalk, Cheryle Thompson,Paul Jackson Sr., Joe Jackson Sr., Carol Mae Collins, Tommy Mac Arthur Jackson and Johnny Pat Jackson preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving childrens; Three Sons, Bobby Richards (Lanette) of Hawkins, Rock Richards of Florida, and Stanley Richard of Hawkins, one daughter Mary Yvette Williams (Horice Earl) of Mineola; 7 Grandchildren, 7 Great- Grandchildren; 2 Brothers; 1 Sister and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,and friends.
