"A Time to be Born"
Virginia Ruth London was born Tuesday, November 15, 1932 to the late Hermon London and Floy Tave London in Mineola, Tx. She attended Mineola Southward Public School.
"A Time to Live"
Virginia (Jennie) accepted Christ at an early age at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Mineola, TX under Reverend W.G. Terry. She was a faithful member until her health failed. Jennie was known for her infectious smile, and being very direct to the point. She had a dedicated work history at Benham & Company, being employed for over thirty-two years. Virginia was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was everything. She loved holidays celebration with all the family together, and the grands could do no wrong in her eyes.
"A Time To Rest"
Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Floy London; two brothers Herman London, Jr., and Bobby London; two sisters Merlene Roberson and Lerlene Bell. One daughter; Theresa Jean (McCalla) Cooke.
"A Time To Mourn"
She leaves to cherish her memories of love and laughter to her son; Billy McCalla ( Debra), Tyler,TX; Daughters; Jacqueline McCalla. Tyler,TX; Vickie McCalla, Dallas,TX; Carol McCalla Cleveland, Mineola, TX. Grand Children: Jocelyn Cooke, Brian McCalla, Shea Abraham ( Jeremy); Toni Kennedy (Royce), Montrai McCalla, Andrew McCalla, and Bradley McCalla. Great-Grand Children: Brendan Cooke, Jada Harper, Jordan Cooke, Jaylon Harper, JaMarcus Kennedy, Hailey Abraham, and Madalyn Trammell. Great-great Grandchild: Kylan Harper. Sister-in-law: Emma McCalla; Son-in-law: Tillman Cooke. A host of nieces,and nephews, cousins, and friends .
Due To Covid-19 The family will have a Private Service, Saturday 07/18/20 ( Family Only) Interment will be at 11:20 AM at the Mineola City Cemetery Everyone Welcomed
